I was looking for a call lanyard online. Found some braided paracord lanyards I liked. They were offered in camo colors, of course, but also in some really bright colors as well-even fluorescent! I know that movement is the biggest give away, but ducks have color vision, so it seems like these bright colored lanyards would be a bad idea. Thoughts? |

Gotta make some bright lanyards to match the neon chartreuse and blaze orange calls people are buying these days...god forbid all the fashion hunters out there have mis-matched lanyards! |

I've been making a few here and there for myself and friends, for my duck call lanyards (the ones I'm wearing out in the open occasionally) I try to keep camo. However, my goose call lanyyard that I'm currently running is neon green, I really don't know why i chose that color, but it's different and it's usually used from a layout blind so the color shouldn't matter. |

Hehe-fashion hunters ![]() I've seen hats, etc. with brightly colored brand logos so everyone can clearly see that they spent $$$ on their hat, I guess. Most of the Academy brand stuff works fine for me, although I do spend more on some things, like waders, etc. To each his own. |

What happened to duck hunting? Fools wearing makeup in the blind, with 7 different colored calls on the their lanyard hunting over more electronics than a Radio Shack, and pulling their boat with a truck covered in stickers. I swear there are more freaking gimmicks and gadgets these days and too many people are getting suckered in. Like my good buddy once said, 95% of the gear nowadays are for the hunter and not the duck. Hunting should be fun, and if you enjoy it, that's all that matters, and I know I shouldn't judge. With that being said, they've got too many silly duckhunters out there. |

well said whistling wings, but I have a blue call not bright only color they had at the time. I do not understand color lanyards also I just wont hunt with anybody that has one cause if we can see them so bright so can the ducks. Also if anybody wants a custom lanyard or meat hanger message me can do just about any one you find on the internet and cheaper |

get one of those neoprene wraps for your call.......you can go with any color call you want, the wrap will hide it and it will float...... |
