Can anyone tell me when is the best time of the year to go bowfishing for flounder near the delta?

just was wondering,i would'nt even know what to look for. I'm just gettn the itch to go shoot some fish, never been to the delta either mite try a trip down there this summer. Guess it would be better on a falling tide or does it even matter.
