We even had a first time deer killer today Nice 8 point for the marsh 3 dogs 3 hours of hunting 8 deer |

yea looks like a good hunt to me, you cant eat horns so might as well shoot them 80 lb doe they the best eatin. only lesson learned the last day of duck season here was dont let akafresh drive the gtr. all the koolaid talk on here got to his head and tried to run 350 yards of straight mud with lillys on top... needless to say 3 hours later we got unstuck |

They're smaller since there's not to food in the marsh like in the north. No grain or crops and whatnot. Plus, much of our marsh is floaton which is pretty much heavy veg that floats and can shift around. If they were too big they're literally sink straight through it to water underneath. |

I hunt northern deer. Not even close to size. I do know one thing though our marsh deer's feet are double the size if not triple |
