I live in dallas and come this duck season i will have a workin GDLT and trained dog. are there any places to duck hunt within a couple hours of around here?

Yes ~ Thay is places to hunt 2 hrs from the MetroMess ...... problem is thay is other folks that awready know 'bout them !!!! All places are crowded ...... the people are rude ..... thay are a bunch of Barneys ..... and thay ain't no DuckBirds !!!!

wouldnt go to lake tawa when its windy its an ocean and no birds. my grandma has a house on that lake i've seen 4 to 6 ft waves on that lake .. like gator point said get a map and a weekend and drive and scout all lakes and river systems near you thats what everyone else does.

try lake lewisville....I know you have to have a permit to hunt it but there's suppose to be a bunch of birds on it....

but you gotta fight off all the dallas douche bags to get a spot...no offense intended... but they are all a bunch of douches!!!

my advice would be to get away from that place....dallas douche bag hunters suck!!!
