Beacause of my company's work load Tank and I missed out on this late season hunt! All the footage came from the week we were supposed to be there.

But Netman and i will make up for it this October in Ontario!! It will be a long wait though lol.

Unbelievable....hunting over corn stalks on the shore of a pond. What has waterfowl hunting come to. Those of us careful to stay well within the law, and those who flirt with disaster. If that's not baiting then I'm spreading sacks of corn in Indian Bayou and calling it conservation.

Awesome video man. Only thing I see negative IMO is the dog breaking. Looks like he was about to get an ass full of bb's at around 1:50. May wanna work on a little obedience in the off season. Not trying to be a smart ass, I just know that is the easiest way for a good dog to get killed.

Dguidry Just because the only area you hunt doesn't have birds like it did 35 years ago doesn't make what they're doing wrong. To kill ducks you have to adapt and change with the times or stay on the damn porch. I know if I saw birds stacking up in a corn field that I had access to hunting I'd sure as hell be there the next morning to bust some feathers instead of sitting in the same spot I've been scratching every day. Just sayin. Somebody gotta kill em.

There are 125 duck clubs just north of ST Louis that not only have milo next to water but flood milo and have been Doing it for 40 years! Trust me it's not illegal.

Everyone is missing the point. It's not illegal to hunt over flooded corn but it sure is baiting. It should not be permitted. I would say let's prohibit hunting over all agricultural areas, no more dual purposed farming. I'm certain that would result in the return to historical levels of big ducks in Louisiana. But I'm afraid the current system is too entrenched to change. The ducks are concentrating where the wealth is. I say spread the wealth. Every farmer or commercial outfit with duck properties should set aside 1/2 of their acreage for the public to use. If a farmer wants to flood 20 acres of corn field he'd have to set aside 20 acres for you and me to hunt.

Now y'all chew on that.

Let me preface my comment with this, I do not currently lease property. I hunt public land in southwest LA. That being said you DGuidry are a fucking idiot if you believe that last statement you posted is the way it should be. That is typical democratic bull shit.

"Mr. Farmer, instead of leasing the 1000 acres of farm you own for 30K dollars (hypothetical #), you can only lease half of it out and the other half we are going to let people hunt it for free. I know you only make half the money, but oh well."

Who is going to cover the cost of insurance for that? Who is going to pay the farmer to maintain the levees, flood the fields, etc...

You literally just said a hard working American should take a 50% pay cut just so cheap ass people like you can have a free place to hunt.

I would really like to see you pitch that idea to farmers and see how many times you get your ass whipped.

And you know what...I'm completely fine with that. I'd rather them get tax breaks and incentives for farming than pay welfare to Jamal who drinks 40s on his porch smoking cut open swisher sweets and doesnt know where his 9 kids are.

I tell you what Dguidry since your idea is so wonderful, I'll be at your house this weekend so I can stake claim to 10 of your 20 acres for free.
