I tested those 50w and didn't like the light spread, too much flood, the warm color was good though. If someone would make that same light with the top of the reflector throwing the light down they would be awesome. |

Spend the money once. Do it right. Sure, you could get 50 watt lights from china for half that, replace them in a couple years, then buy good lights and you've spent time and a half to get something you'll be happy with that will last. |

I mounted some $85 extra warm 50watt LED's from a different source next to my old halos and went out on the water to try it out. The halos penetrated the water better where I am and the 50 watts lit up the tops of the trees and everything else. Nice color but not enough focused light. Plus the halos are less than $10 each and I have a prototype sound box for the genny. It's much quieter than the Briggs idling... |
