Has anybody ever tried the Mack's Prarie Wings or Banded breathable waders? I have used the Cabelas breathables and had no issues with them. Just curious to see what anybody else is using. |

Mack's have no fleece linings so every time I took them off felt like I was damp like they were leaking but it was just bc the fleece absorb the moisture! I've tried on the banded and I do want a pair but they are making changes to them bc they didn't have snap buckles on the shoulder straps so that sucked and the material on the leg tore and they are making stronger material they didn't leak though! Mack's are comfortable and the banded are like wearing a pair of buds with muck boots so they are the most comfortable waders I have ever put one! But they are not stiff like reg waders so u can't really role them down so u will have to get use to putting them on and taking off that was the only tricky part that I saw but that is only bc no buckle on the straps! I have drakes now but plan on getting the banded! Also most my buddies who buys the Mack's have all leaked mine did after 2 years theirs done it after a few times of wearing they replaced them and wasnt a problem since we hunt near mpw |

Thanks, thats good info. I talked to the folks at Mack's, and they said that all of their waders are taped and glued except for the breathables...at least that is what a sales rep told me. I was wanting to try the Banded waders but didn't want to spend the money without hearing if they were worth a damn. Especially since my Cabelas did so good last year. |

I read some bad reviews about those Drake EST waders. I even wrote the company, and the fella told me they stood behind their products, bla, bla, bla and acted like if there was a problem that they would replace them. |

I've heard bad things about the Mack's waders... It's unfortunate because they have good features and are a nice looking wader. Banded waders?... As in that queer Chad Belding guy? His show is embarrassing... I wouldn't buy sh!t from them. I've always heard Cabela's waders were the way to go; I would stick with them if I were you. When my Columbia's go, I'm going to replace them with Cabela's. How do you like the breathable Cabela's waders you have? How are they in below freezing temps? I thought about grabbing a set. |

I have never had somebody not take my waders back in a year but they always give u a hard time due to the fact that they have to eat that pair until the rep comes buy and cuts the boat and takes a piece and throws them n a dumpster which I was told is usually the next summer when they take orders for the fall! My buddy talked to the owner of banded and was very pleased with him and talk like it was gonna b a good company guess time will tell |

Cool, thanks. I think I might try a pair... I think I'd like the fit and extra room of the breathable ones. |

I know Cabelas has a really good return policy. I have returned things in the past without any problems. |

New cabelas waders have a lifetime warranty...they say 3 years is a lifetime, but still a pretty good warranty, IMO. |

I will also say this about the breathables, when it is warm or you have to walk a good distance, you won't be sweatin your nuts off.... |

I've got the Cabelas dri plus breathable waders for turtle trapping. They get abused and no leaks. I'd buy another pair for sure! Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |

ive had three pairs of cabelas waders.. the first two pairs i wore once each. both had a piece of cane bust thru the bottom of the boot in front the heel. went to return the first pair and was told they dont cover punctures as part of the warranty but both times when shown the puncture was in the bottom of the boot they replaced them. made a few hunts with the newest pair and havent had issues with em. rubber is soft on the boots but you hit them canes right and theyll cut thru anything. |

i have a pair of cabelas sock fits and love them. You can get a wading boot which is way more comfortable fitting than the rubber boots. |

Cabelas breathables are the only way to go. It gets dam cold here and i just layer up under them. I've never had any problems with em. Wear them all year long. Hunting, Bowfishing, Trapping, and fishing. |

Their Warrior 2 breathables have been the best waders I've ever owned. I went through about 4 pair of Mack's grand prairie waders. Breathables from here on out. |

I'm a distributor for Lacrosse and buy all my waders through them at a pretty good discount. I hunted the Swamp Fox waders for the last two years and liked them a lot. Lots of room to layer up on really cold days also. |

Mack's GP waders have very high sides, but I never got a full season out of a pair. Went through 3 or 4 pair, and all leaked at the seams. Even the pairs with the new seam system. Never will I own neo waders again, we do too much walkin. |

ive got a three year old pair of hodgemans breathables that i have sealed up a dozen times and they are still kickin.....dont want a new pair because i like the lace up boot on them, my foot never pulls out. But Ive got a buddy with some columbia breathables and they are really nice and seem to be holding up fine. columbia has really good customer service also, consumer reports ranks them as one of the highest in cs. |

Columbia is the bomb with customer service. I sent them a Wigeon jacket that I had been using for 8 years, the zipper started getting rough, and it wasnt so waterproof anymore. They sent me a brand new jacket, no questions asked. They did the same for my cousin. |
