A buddy of mine did that once, snagged a moccasin! Put it on the front deck and turned around to get my cane knife out of dry storage n the mudboat. Grabbed the knife, turned around and the ratl trap was there and the snake was gone! Talk bout a bad feeling!! |

yea i tried o get him off but he tangled my line up bad so I cut the lure but he got tangled in the fishin net with my line and was stuck tight , turned into a big mess i took his head off with a pliers and pulled it free. brought some excitement to a slow day on the water |

Well my weiner may not be as big as I like to brag, check out the snake's mouth. I got him taped shut so I can train the dogs with it. |

the one I caught is barely a snake compared to that 1 wal. I rather have a snake on my line, I've seen bats hit with lures night fishin and get all tangled up talk bout a mess with a pissed off critter. Most our snakes are harmless in wi we got some timber rattlesnake and the eastern massasauga rattler but not to many of either |

My regular hunting license allows me to possess 19 rattlesnakes. If I possess 20 then I got to buy that high dollar dealer license. It aint worth it to me. I just baby the ones I got and they last through the training season. Every spring I go back and catch 19 more for the year. You know the state has to dip in them pockets every chance they get. |
