Courtesy of Tactical Hog Control in Bedias, TX. Went out on the 11th for a night mission on hog control...these dudes outfit you w/ Gen III Mil Spec nightvision goggles and AR-10 w/ Gen III Night vision scope and one w/ a Infrared Scope...an AR-15 suppressed w/ the night vision on top of it. If that ain't enough...on the front of the Ranger there is another Forward Looking Infrared Cam that can detect heat from over 1000 yards away. We hunted a 21000 acre ranch and never left the first 600 pasture we pulled into. Total count was 13 porkers and one yote. Good times indeed...if ya'll ever want to hook up on something like this go to http://www.tacticalhogcontrol.com. On these...we killed 5 out of a group, 2 minutes later the yote came runnin to a dead pig....WHACK....rounded them up, turned around and there was another group 300 yards behind us...put a sneak and whacked 6 of them. (2 of them were a good ways off so we didn't drag them to the pile) Total we saw that night was an easy 100 pigs...never would have known how many are out at night that you never see w/o some night vision and ESP that infrared...crazy! |
