Im about to pull the trigger on a new finder. I really like the ones with the down imaging option. Anybody got reccomendations? Is the DI worth getting? hummingbird? Lowrance? etc...

I was about to suggest a Humminbird 998si however your price limit has you hitting yard sales. I have the Hbirds and cannot say enough good about them. I use mine for comm fishing and they are very tough and very detailed.

 Re: Fish Finders
I ended up buying the Lowrance Elite 5 DSI last night at Academy, they had them 50 percent off so it was hard to pass up. I didn't want to spend a bunch on a FF for this boat for the simple reason my boat is prolly worth 300 bucks lol
