I sold my SX3 earlier this year to get some cash for my 35. Was planning to get another before hunting season, but kids AR 15's and other things were priority until last week. I borrowed my old sx3 and shot wonderful with it. Last year, I noticed a little increase in my shooting with a patternmaster, well here teal season is upon us, and I havent replaced the SX3, so I broke the ole trusty 870 out, and went and picked up a paternmaster last night for it, got home and like a giddy school boy grabbed the gun and went to the man cave, Ill be DAMMED if the old factory choke tube isnt seized the hell up in the barrel. Soaked it in Kroil all night, and finally found my old style choke tube wrench. After the hammer came out, then the welding machine, then the torch, I now have a broken choke tube wrench, a burnt finger, and a choke tube that is about 1/32" from being all the way in.
Any ideas how to get the factory tube out?
