I always start off with a bag that weighs 40#, but it gets thinned out drastically by the second split

The usual has been covered. I also keep a lighter, extra batteries for gps and flashlights, 2 spare decoy weights, and a fold-up saw for cutting brush. Coffee is a must and so are Vienna sausages.

choke tubes
gloves (several pair)
beanie hat
game strap

ammo and spotlight go in a hard box

TP in a ziploc in the truck and another in the gun box. Can't count how many times I've dropped a deuce in the swamp with waders around my knees, clutching a clump of cattails for balance

I noticed that mngunner definitely hunts cold weather like the rest of us up here. Anyone that packs "several pair" of gloves knows what I mean.

Thank you to the man that listed a tree spike in their bag. I'll be stealing that idea for sure.

Good idea in timber. I prefer the skyhook in the marsh where there are no trees.
