Its been almost 100 degrees here for quite a while. Friday the high is going to be in the low 70's. My wife ran at day break this morning and said it was smoking hot. I just took the trash out and the wind is now out of the north. The cold front is coming hard. The front is hitting perfect for you La/Tx teal hunters. Good lluck! Netman |

Cold front came threw Ohio today. I hunted this morning and saw 5 teal. This front kicked thousands of teal out of my area. They are comin your way |

82 yesterday, today 61 with a 10-15 mph north wind. Hope this doesn't move to many birds out with season opening next sat. It happened 3 years ago and the first half of the season was a grind. |

The front is supposed to stall around mid-LA this weekend, but not really bring any cooler temps. Hopefully it brings a few birds |

40 degree low for saturday night here. Tal, Gary and I were shooting our new Tac 15 cross bows from the back porch to the slough[60yds]. When we walked down to get the arrows the woods are full of woodies. The beavers have the creek clogged up and now my woods is filling with water. The white oaks are dropping acorns fairly heavy. The corn is a couple weeks from being harvested. Planting winter wheat across the road from my home. Sounding good??? |
