I just bought a 1846 gatortail rig im wanting to rig it up to do some bowfishing. Would like to keep it as light as possible. Light rails and led's probably, what advice can you experienced guys give me on a setup?

One 31 series battery and several LEDs will run for hours.

If the motor is CDI. Put two batteries Parallel 12volt run 14-16 led and will be good to go.

That is how I had mine set up. I was only running 12 LEDs and could run them for 10 hours plus. Mine were not hooked up to charge from my motor.

Thanks for the input guys. My motor is a 2013 gtr so its definitely a marine cdi motor. What are the best led lights to buy for the murky waters of southeast Louisiana?

I think you'd want a yellow tinted light for murky water. Some guys use a yellow film tape over top of the white led lights. Maybe consider some of the 50 watt led lights for more punch.
