Pretty pumped up about this Saturday with the opening , but on a sad note-- have not seen a lot of action while looking before this season . Oh well , going to take the rod with me and nothing else , catch a couple of reds for dinner . The lab can watch and the mud motor got some work in . |

Almost upon us! We have 'em in pretty good #'s round here, hope every one finds 'em in droves! I've got it bad this year... Dreamed that hundreds of Gads were droppin' in on the dekes last night... Good luck |

In the thirteen years I've been hunting ducks I have never seen so many people scouting. Hope everyone stays safe and kills a few. |

How'd you fellas do? It was stupid crowded in my area.. Every DC and there brother were everywhere. I've never seen it this packed, takes all the enjoyment out of it. We opted to go to a secluded area we had in our back pocket and did pretty descent. We went to our original 1st choice at 3am and the launch was full, said eff this and hauled ass to plan B. Cooked some bad ass deer sausage and eggs, shot 12 ducks and DIDN'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH ANY OTHER BOATS! Good times and great start to a season. Sent from my SPH-L720 using Tapatalk |

LOL , won't be wearing a T-shirt sunday morning with a front coming in . On a sad note , was set up and a jackass one hour later comes and set up about 70 yds in front of our decoys . Flashed a light and wouldn't move . He even shot over our coys a couple of times . Place was loaded with people at lake George . On a good note , I shot two ducks even with all the crap that happen . Might let the 1st phase pass and see if the kooks thin out during the second phase . |
