Seriously, though, the birds are thick in Catahoula Lake right now, Bubba reported.

I think urange would be better than none.
None, he could still hunt. Urange, they wouldn't stand a chance at shooting any ducks!

 Re: Catahoula birds
I'm thinking of making a trip to catahoula lake for the second opening. I'm coming from southeast la, and usually hunt the PAC-wma. Is it worth the trip, what can I expect ?

 Re: Catahoula birds
You just cant hunt The Houla with a boat blind and a few decoys dude.
Them people on the lake are very harsh to outsiders.

The blind I hunted had 200+ decoys out and still needed more.

 Re: Catahoula birds
Don't F with dguidry's blind for sure. But, if you do happen to want to hunt it, I'm sure he would have no problem with it, being a true democrat and all. Actually, he would probably go ahead and give you his decoys to use in the blind he built, along with his shotguns and duck calls and then go along on his merry little way. That way he could go back to work and make some money to be able to buy more decoys and guns and calls and gasoline to build another blind. Then repeat the giving process when someone else want's to mooch off of his hard work. Since he's a democrat and all.
