Anyone going to be out there this weekend?

I went this morning off the island road. Shot 4 birds, lost 1. We did however see some birds. 250 yrds rafting and could do nothing. Must have had 1500 or so. Lots of greys. Had some teal and some quacking(might have been mottleds). Making all kinds of noise. They just wouldn't move. They get spooked by gun shots, fly up, make a circle and go right back down. They were not getting close to the banks at all. Had flocks fly over but they were 100yrds high and climbing.

Sucked to see that many ducks and can't shoot or get them to do anything.

Was north of the sulfur mine this morning. The birds were flyin high and decoy shy already. They had some big ducks but mostly teal. We managed to knock down a mixed bag of 8. We saw more action today than the first split opener. There was a lot of shooting around us for the minimal amount of cars at the launch.

I was on the southern end of Lake Bully Camp on Saturday. Birds, mostly greys, were up high. We had a single group of teal fly in low enough to shoot.
