1st kill of the season!

40 yard shot with a rage braodhead

he was licking his hind quarter when i shot and lo and behold a head shot then penetrated the shoulder about 4" before breaking the arrow!

Ran about 50 yards.

We start here in Indiana on Oct 1. The corn is still in the fields which makes more hiding for the deer. However the temps are starting to become fall like and I am seeing alot of deer at night while on patrol. I look foreward to getting some brown down like T did. Good job and you gotta love the Rage. Headed to Illinois Wed night. They been seeing a 170-180 with a droptine hanging around. I'll be happy sticking several does, but wouldn't mind a shot at him.

Yeah Delta that's why i shoot Rage, any other broadhead needs to be wasted on coons r squirrels!

Thanks guy's i am pretty proud of that shot, it may be luck but if so i'll take it!

Got the meat all deboned and doing the soak and drain until next weekend gonna be some good eatin

Nice Shot!! I shoot Rage and wouldn't change for nothing. There is nothing like seeing the blood pouring out from 40 yards away as the deer runs off.

the marsh is over populated, we see about 90 percent bucks I'm cullin da herd :D

I guestimated it at 160lbs but the deer don't have any fat this year, healthy but not fat.

Theres not at much feed this year and the rut is pretty much finishing maybe a combination of a few things.
