Post Tim Grounds Super Mag vs Pro Super Mag
Anyone have used both of these calls? I'm looking for the differences between how these handle. I currently have a Zink SR-1 and like it, but I'm looking to try something else. I tried a GK Little Giant but didn't like how sensitive it was to hand position--at least the one I tried, if you didn't have the absolute perfect amount of back-pressure it would break over correctly.

I just picked up the super mag and so far I like it a lot. Very easy call to run IMO. It doesn't require a lot of air through it which I like. I havent tried the pro mag just because I didn't want the price to double.

I feel like it is. I'm able to turn the call over with one hand, the second just makes it sound better. My last call was one made by a local guy and the hand position and backpressure had to be perfect otherwise it sounded like a dying rabbit. When I got my Supermag I loved it because everything didn't have to be spot on to run it.

Never been a fan of the super mag, pro mag is very similar. The long mag is a great call and easy to learn on/run, been blowing one for over 10 yrs. Get the acrylic or hedge and you won't be disappointed.
