Post subject: | Generator and battery charging clarification |
I'm a newbie to the whole thing. i built a deck on my boat with 7, 500watt work lights. Running a 5500watt brigs generator. Id like to know what exactly i would need to charge my trolling battery. With that said could i charge 2 batteries, i have one for my running lights and light bar. So what exactly do i need to do this? Thanks |

Look into a power max or iota convertor. Depending on the size trolling motor u run depends on what amp convertor and if it's 12volt or 24 volt. Get you one of them and you will never have to worry about your battery dieing |

Used to run a powermax 55 amp on a 12 volt troller could run all night long on one battery. Powermax was a little cheaper. |

Yes it's real simple. Wires from trolling motor to battery. From battery to convertor. Convertor to generator. Run ur trolling motor for a few hours then plug in your convertor and keep fishing |
