Snow geese in LA seems to be a crap shoot unless you happen to be in the field they want. Yea with a big spread and e callers you may kill 10-20 but its not one of those video hunts you see on tv. I know alot of goose hunting guides in swla dont do conservation hunts...then you have the ones that will take your $ and run

I would need to load it to YouTube. Basically a field on side the road loaded with snows, which was pretty much the sight everywhere you went around there. Learned that the farmers hate em and would love to take out as many as possible. We tried on one of the days while up there duck hunting, but the stalk technique was unsuccessful..those suckers ain't dumb

I'll be heading down there Monday afternoon to pull my climber down and take care of a couple other odds and ends. We have held anywhere from 6-10k for a month now, and they likely won't run out of wheat until it's time to head back north. I'll check and see how the fields look and what kind of numbers we got and if the goin is good we'll line somethin up. We can start killin feb 2 so this bad weather that's supposed to be movin through up north might put us right on the money

Put out 6000 rags for a chance to maybe sky bust a few snows while the other 20,000 snows fly around and laugh at you? No thanks. You want a good snow goose hunt? Go North, or go home.

Creeping up on snows is my favorite way to do it, either come up a ditch or get behind a cow silhouettes and walk across the field.

I've actually laid down in the bottom of the boat and let the wind blow us right up to em when they were loafing on a lake

We hunted this past weekend. Our field killed 114 on saturday. All fields combined there were over 700 killed.
We hunt dexter missouri with Neu Outdoors. These guys follow the migration all the way to North Dakota.

Head to the Mississippi delta and you won't be disappointed. We went up to Batesville a few years ago and bagged around 300 in two hunts. They are thick in the winter wheat fields up there.
