Anybody used these?

I bought 3 of them to add motion to my spread. They looked pretty low quality online and when they showed up they didnt disappoint.... typical cheap chinese plastic gizmo. It runs off 1 D battery has a small little propeller that spins fast as hell and a little adjustable rudder. For water proofing it has on small little o-ring that looks doomed to fail sooner rather than later.

I dont expect much out of them, but I only paid about 10 bucks a piece.

Never tired them out but thought about it a couple times but now I'll wait to hear ya reviews..

If all fails just bring them back to boat with you and. Let them swim around port fourchon so the seagulls can have a field day..

I'll prolly go toss one in the canal behind my house. I'm curious to see how fast it will push decoys. teal, regular duck, and goose floaters

Never tried those but I can tell you the ones from academy suck. Didnt even move my decoy. Just sat there like the rest of them.

They move around a good bit, but don't really put any ripple on the water.
Any grass in the pond will choke it down quick too!

They don't last long and like to fall off the decoys

Had a buddy that bought two from academy and they wouldn't push the decoys the first morning and they fell apart on the second trip. They are junk.

Like woody said...any grass fucks em up.
bend the rudder a lil bit,put a longer string and put it in deeper water...just let it make a circle.
Leave the weight on the decoy.
glue the suction cup too.

The remote control ducks aren't any better. Ours didn't last but a few trips, and it would clog with grass or the remote just wouldn't work

Most of these damn gizmos they're selling these days aren't worth fuggin with. With the exception of teal season I don't use mojos because they're too high maintainence and poorly made IMO. My buddy bought a Mallard Machine and its a just a trolling motor head with a cheap plastic body. You gotta drag batteries out, run a foot switch to the blind...too much money and work to put some ripples on the water. Quiver discs, remote control ducks, wake maker, thrashers, vortex machines...them things are made to bring in hunters, not ducks. If you like them, you can have them. I'll take a jerk rig with a couple Canada floaters everytime! Rant over.

My mojo's have been completely trouble free.
I have 2 but the conditions have to be right or the ducks down here wont finish with them spinning like crazy.
