Yeah I have shot one they are ok and you would be sulfides at how hard they shoot. There's a guy here local that makes them and PVC bows for bowfishing.

Its defnately easier to shoot than a bow while driving.
i made mine...it has double tubes with a whisker buisket in the middle...and a reel under the handle.
After u shoot just flip it over and reel.
Works good but its time to replace the bands on mine.
It penetrates gar too.

Crossbow locks the string and has a trigger. Slingbow...not even close to the same thing.
