Post Headed to Squaw Creek MO
I am headed to Sqaw Creek in Missouri for the snow goose spring migration. Chasing them white devils back to Canada.

I had 1 guy drop out. I could use 1, maybe 2 hunters to fill up the hunt. That would put us at 6 hunters. Any takers text me at 713-530-9182. I am not nor do I work for an outfitter. I am looking for the sharing of fuel and or hotel ect. The hunting is paid to the outfitter at $200 a day for 2 days total $400. Fuel will be around $125 per man in my Excursion, there is already 3 in the Ex. It can handle maybe 1 or 2 more people.

The outfitter recommends bringing a case of shells per day. I ordered from Rogers. 12 ga 3.5 mag BB X 2 cases was $309 shipped to my door in 5 days.

Clothing ranges from "GD it is cold this morning" to "Dang it is kind of warm today".

I already have 2 hotel rooms reserved in St Joseph Missouri. I can cancel them if need or pass them onto whomever goes.

I have waited on this trip for a long long time. It is high time I go up there and give some pay back to them white devil birds. So for all the zero hunts, I am coming for you devil bird.

Leaving on the 19th at 5:00 PM ish and driving until we are sick of driving. Then finishing the drive on Thursday. We are shooting on the 21 and 22 of Feb.

Oh and that is an all day shoot. We are eating lunch in the layout and leaving the field after dark.

See all that open water in your pic, well it's not water right now. The 10 day extended forecast in Mound city is below freezing everyday, it'll take some warmer temps to thaw some ice and then the big numbers of birds will arrive. As soon as it starts warming the birds are going to be up there thick!

Good luck, we've made several trips up there and I believe everyone should go to see it.

Thank you on the good luck. From what has been reported to me is this winter blast has pushed the bio-mass back south. If they have not repopulated squaw creek in the next couple weeks we are not going that far up. We will be in Arkansas. We are going where the birds are located.

If this forecast holds you might hit it right. I hunted a pond about 10 miles west of the refuge last year. It can be incredible when the birds are there.

Damn, I'd be all over this trip If I wasn't due to go back offshore on the 19th.
Good luck!
