Getting ready to the Morgan city oilmens rodeo in May and the only species that has to be alive is bass which is what I want to fish. I really want to use my gator tail boat to fish it looking for a way to keep them alive. Go. |

I use a portable oxygen system and a igloo cooler filled with water to keep my fish alive for tournaments. The igloo helps keep water temps equal. If during summer use bags of ice to cool water down every hour or so. Frozen water bottles etc to help maintain temps. |

If I can't come up with nothing I'll have to use my dad's bass boat. I don't want to because I'm used to being able to go anywheres I want. And in that I'm gonna end up tearing up his lower unit. Lol |

Your lucky day. I have a live bait tank I'll give you. It's about 3 feet oblong and two feet tall with outlet and inlet. Heavy duty plastic 1/2 inch thick. I'm in lafayette, la |

I didn't like any of the cheap ways. Water sloshing around, water foaming up because of fish poop, etc. I had gator trax put a live well in a dry box with a drain, fresh pump, and recirculating pump. I love it. Sent from my DROID RAZR using Tapatalk 2 |

An ice chest with an aerator is what I use and it has kept bass alive for 4-5 hours. |

Go to Walmart and get a cheap ice chest or use one you already have the sell livewell aerator for around 30$ it's just a bilge pump with a plastic flex hose and a wire with clamps for the battery |

Those non recirculating systems will work but remember to replace water as nitrate levels will elevate to toxic levels. |

We use an ice chest with a 500 gph bilge pump. Also get u a bottle of rejuvinate. This setup works better than any livewell . |

Just as coe said....change water often and use ice every so often to keep water cool. This method with a cheap recirculator is reallt effective. |
