 Crawfishing Who all on here crawfishes? Went today to move some traps and only caught 4 sack. Anyone doing better?
Area Im fishing looks too good to not have crawfish

Re: Crawfishing The water temp is 47 deg they should start running any day now, but talking to all the fishermen I know ant nobody doing shit!

Re: Crawfishing Only caught 1 sack today on a day in a half set with 80 traps. But my size was I was catching was larger than everyone else's around for some reason.

Re: Crawfishing Im got about 250-300 traps and i only ran 200 today. The buyer said i did pretty good considering the amount of traps i ran
Last week they were running better

Re: Crawfishing I don't commercial fish but I set 20 down a little canal and caught a little over a 5gal bucket. I set them out yesterday and checked them this morning thin agin before dark. im the only one fishing them

Re: Crawfishing i have 140 traps sitting in the shed i was gunna try this year but working 14 and 14 it really doesnt pay, id have to leave my traps unattended for 2 weeks and hope no one else decides to take them, did really well when the basin flooded real bad a couple years ago
