I moved north of FW a couple months ago and am thinking about bringing my boat over for the summer. Any of u have experience fishing the area, bass or perch? The big ass lakes over here don't seem very mud boat friendly if the wind picks up... |

Lake Cooper over in commerce TX is both a nice fishing and hunting lake. Bring a GPS or you'll get lost. Also lake bardwell, cedarcreek lake and ray Hubbard the same. Joe pool lake in dunkinville is nice for fishing. Lake towkoni is a good hunting/fishing lake |

Eagle mountain isn't far from you and is a good lake to fish. |
