Spent 14 hours bowfishing this past weekend that's not included the scouting. Man I feel like a truck ran over me lol.

T, I'll be 60 next month. About 6 months ago I started working out at Red's 3 times a week, including once a week with a trainer. I've lost 15lbs since I started. We began with simple stuff like getting up from the floor. I've progressed significantly since then. I have more stamina and range of motion in my shoulders and legs. Yesterday I did something that would not have been possible 6 months ago. My son had shoved an old battery way up under the boat deck for added weight to the front end. I was actually able to get on my hands, knees and belly, reach under there, lift the battery and take it out. I was very happy with myself and encouraged to continue on this path until I am certain I can whip Cajun Outlaw. :lol: There are many more benefits to this exercise regime but those reports would be better suited for the NSFW forum. ;)

I knew the exact day I got old. Woke up in the morning and hurt like hell for no reason. I said to my wife I think I slept wrong. How the fck do you sleep wrong. I used to sleep curled up in the bottom of a small pirouge and wake up to shoot duck and fish all day. Now if I fall asleep on the couch I'm screwed. And I ain't really that old at all.

Ha! I'm 35, and feel like I'm 80! Take anti-inflammatory daily because I refuse surgery or pain meds. I barely can use my left arm/shoulder. I've worked the decks on river boats for 12 yrs and now just train tankerman for the last 2 years and do audits! I wish I took care of myself better at a younger age! But I don't let it stop me! When I start to hurt, I just take it easy for a few days till I'm not sore.
