Ok I have been playing with them They told me they design new string and to me it looks and works the same. Like shit. So I went ahead and put some muzzy braided line same as the AMS reels use. Not a single issue yet from both reals. I also shot them a few hundred times in the yard not a issue. I went ahead and bought me a new bow and got one coming for it. This may be the ticket. Might I say when their working their hard to beat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Might I add. Don't go out and sell your AMS to get this dude. If you know how to use a AMS they are hard to beat. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Took a guy on Friday that wrecked an AMS reel. Probably wasn't his fault, but I haven't seen or heard of too many going down. The reel was about three years old and I think it lost one of the little gears inside somehow because it binds and misses now. For the most part though they seem tougher than anything else. |

The ams has adjustments with the trigger and where the line spools in. They can be completely taken apart and fixed with parts. Ams has great customer service. You should try and reset them if you are having issues. Loosen 2 screws, adjust then you are back in the game if it's not spoiling right. I have instructions on how to do it if you can't find it on the inter web. |

Also AMS will let all your string out the jug from a wind. Cajun won't. If you forget to push button no worry it just won't shoot hard Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Terry how long have you had the Cajun reels? I heard they got some newer ones out with better gears and stuff that are holding up a bit better. I'm thinking of getting a few to try them out. |

Can you get bigger bottles for them? I heard on BFZ that some of the guys are putting the bigger aluminum bottles on them like the AMS reels and that helps keep the line from knotting up too. Your bigger AMS bottles may fit right on them. |

The line is the problem. It's flat. Flat line is thin and knots up easy. That why I've had zero issues so for from the round AMS string in them Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I know, I'm not butt hurt, don't worry. Only upside is that we shot 83 fish Friday night and not one of us reached for a filet knife. Nick is headed to my place tonight through the weekend to shoot. We will let you know what kind of a dent we out in the trash fish. |

Ddm, its muzzy 200 lb, but it's thinner than ams string, and believe it's flat. So that might be my deal. Samsung S5 |
