Been having some pretty bad eyes itching and swelling when I go frogging lately. Last time the left eye shut completely on me. It only happens if the caddis/mayflies are swarming and one touches my eye.

Might have to look like a fool and start wearing some goggles or something. Just wondering if anyone has ever had the same reaction.

I had a bug hit my eye last time out. Not sure what kind it was but it was an instant burning sensation. Not terrible but a noticeable irritation. Woke up the next morning and the tear duct in that eye was swollen near where the bug touched my eye. Felt like I had an eyelash on my eye every time I blinked. It went down by the end of the day but that was the first time I've had that happen. I've entertained the idea of wearing ski goggle because of all the flying insects.
