Can't see it being bad for anybody south. Most of the birds are headed this way by then anyway

I'm all for it except for the dumb asses that can't identify a teal from a mallards or Woodside.

we have a little bit everything up here right now. This past weekend fishing I saw a lot of mallards, ducklins are comming a long nice also saw ringnecks and mergansers and surprisingly a decent amount of gaddys a few widgeon but woody sightings have been down this year.

Makes it a lot more likely that people will be shooting non target species expecially because the ducks are no or will be molting and there are lots of birds that still have eclipse coloring making it even harder to identify birds on the fly

I seen a lot more Woodies this year at my place, we have a creek that goes into the MN River. Should be a real good year for them - to bad they bail out of the state so soon.

We usually get woodies till end of october and maybe a straggler in early nov. I havent been back to my woody holes yet but I usually see a few running the creeks and backwaters to some of fishing spots but im not to worried theres a lot more water around this year with the late spring and all the rain that there is a good amount of flooded timber they can hang in.

I dont ever remember seeing this many gadwall though we don't usually shoot many but they were all over the place this last weekend.
