Most reasonable gator tags for non resident
I am envious of all these gator pics I am seeing. Are there any states that allow non residents to hunt without a guide? If so what is the cheapest state? Also if there are any states that allow it, is there decent public land to hunt on? Thanks for any info.

Come to la and just shoot one. I bet I saw 2-300 last night. They really need to take them off the endangered species list and open a season to the public.

South Carolina isn't too bad. If you're drawn, it's $300 but the kicker is if you bring anyone else OOS it's $200 per person and then you have to get your 3-day license. We get divided into 4 zones for gator so whichever zone you're drawn for, you hunt any public body of water unless it's a WMA or State Park.

It'll take you three-four years to get drawn.
