1. Does anyone know what the Regulations are about Bowfishing lake Salvador area and North of the lake Salvador area? The book is sketchy about it, and I called DNR and she really wasn't acting sure. Kinda was acting like she just wanted to just tell me something do be done with my call. Looking for big Gator Gar and I know the layout of the water will produce Gator Gar. Coming from Arkansas I'm trying to do the most scouting I can on Google Thanks in advance. |

Bowfishing in the actual WMA is illegal. But you can bowfish in the lake where it isnt part of the WMA. They have plenty of gar but a lot of time the wind blows in the lake and it gets rough and the water gets dirty. As long as the wind doesnt blow you should see plenty of gars. |
