Looking really hard into getting a winchester super x3 in duck blind camo... but am torn between it, maxus, and versa max. They are all in the same category price wise.. just wondering what yalls inputs on these guns

Get both then you're guaranteed to have the best.

You wouldn't give a benelli a chance?

Browning and winchester are the same company

I have been shooting an sx3 since they came out.. I would recommend it, I have put the gun threw hell and back, and has not let me down yet. Mud, snow, rain and our lovely freezing temps here and no problems with firing or cycling shells. But also before I bought the gun I went and shouldered several others, and the sx3 fit me the best and I would advise this to you. Kinda like if the shoe fits wear it modo, it is the same for a gun.. As for cleaning purposes, it is not as easy to tear down as some but still simple enough..

I would say the sx3 is hard to beat in the "bang for buck" category! Been using mine for 3 seasons and a couple skeet tourneys and not a single issue.

If I was in the market for a semi-auto I'd get a Beretta, hands down. That being said, I'll stick with my double gun :)

I shoot a Beretta and could not be happier, second choice would be the maxus.

Versa max is either heavy or unbalanced to me. But not sure about the other 2. Probably couldn't go wrong with either though.

I shoot an A400 and like it and my dad had the maxus and is also a fine shooting gun. Was actually going to buy the maxus originally but when I went to get one they were out of stock and wasn't planning on restocking due to browning concentrating on A5 orders when they were new

A benelli SBE2 would be my first choice if I wasn't on a budget.. I shouldered all and the sbe and maxus both shouldered about the same. I hunted with a buddies silver mallard 390 Beretta this weekend tho and can say I really liked it as well.. very fine gun. If I could find one for a decent price I may switch it up and go with it.

Switched from a gold to a maxus 3 years ago and have not had an issue. Lighter weight and a way lighter trigger when Compared to the gold. First few flocks on the first trip I thought I only loaded 2 shells but it turned out I was double tapping the trigger on the first shot. Strips to the frame in about 2 minutes and very easy to clean.

I got the x3 the 1st year they came out. I've shot the hell out of that gun. Always runs for the money it's one of the best I think.

Beretta A400. Doubles as a boat paddle in 3seconds. Seen 2 Maxus fck up last year. Something to do with the safety shifting while cycling.

Take into consideration that with all of the guns mentioned, if something was wrong with the gun the company would make it right, that said I think the most important thing about a shotgun is how if feels, I was going to buy a benelli m2 last spring but I hated the way is felt... Long story short I walked out with a franchi affinity (awesome gun) because the gun felt good and fit me well.

I've heard good things about the affinity.

I know 3 people with the maxus all 3 have had the spring crack on them, one of them has cracked twice. All replaced by Browning, but hen you pay $1500 for a gun and its less than a year old and your sending it back that'll piss you off. With that said it is a good shooting gun and lighter than most.

I didn't like the versa max because it seemed unbalanced, my buddy has had problems with his Maxus. I have an sx3 and didn't like the coating that was on the barrel and receiver so I duracoated it. Pick your poison.

Get the action Teflon coated and print over the barrel and stock. That would be sick.

A300 is hard to beat in my book. Under 700 for a synthetic version. Great gun, zero issues so far

The real question you should be asking is which gun looks the best with barrel stickers!?

I never thought of it that way... does anyone have any barrel sticker reviews?
