This might be a dumb question but does anyone know where I can hunt with a mud boat south of the lake without a lease around those areas? Bc in slidell there's big branch but it's run by the federal wildlife and of you get caught with the mud boat = no good |

Think most if not all if that area over there by Delacroix is leased. Go by Biloxi marsh that is public |

The pearl river wma is public but make sure u stay on la side of the river don't wonder to ms. Get online look up wma pearl river an it will show u everything that u can hunt. Jus make sure to fill out the sheet at the launch before u go out. Yeh can have mud boat |

Apache had a few blocks left south of myrtle grove/pointe a la hatche. I went and checked out a couple, not the greatest. Not much to look at and quite a boat ride no matter where ya launch. Can't speak for the hunting though... |
