Hoping to knock a couple down this weekend too. Almost bought a new powder gun but this cheap one I've had for 4 years has more kills than any of my other guns so I decided to keep it. Good luck fellas! |

I thought about borrowing a buddies but it's one of them fancy break overs with a scope and I couldn't bring myself to use it. If I'm going to kill one it's going to be either a old one that shoots a lead ball or my 7mm08! Sent from my beeper |

Mine is a break over with a scope but its cheap! CVA wolf is the name, less than $200. Its surprising at how well it shoots to be so cheap. |

Our starts next weekend, I finally got mine out, good thing I got a good one , because I left the Damn thing loaded... cleaned right up though.hopefully we are seeing more rut activity by then, they already scraping around here. Lots of fresh rubs. I'll be glad when I can take this gun, cuz I've had 4 instances where I've been to far away from a 150" 10pt and a 170" 10pt. Think it will close the gap lol |

I left mine loaded all year too. Shot it and let the barrel soak for a couple hours then brushed it and its good to go. |

Yea,I meant to say mine was loaded again after I shot a deer, and then left loaded all year. That can be devastating to a barrel, ask me how I know |
