I'll post up pictures later. We got buzzed by about 3 groups of 50 teal each landing in decoys, dog going crazy all 10 minutes before shooting time. Ended up with a teal and a widgeon the flight was early and then we had groups of 2-3's coming in with the occasional single. The day light savings time will help tomorrow.

My buddy grabbed the wrong gun and was only able to load 1 shell at a time for about the first 30 minutes. Another buddy who brought his dog on the boat didn't bother asking me just showed up with her I was like SOB! Oh well... He was busy watching her the whole time b/c she is to wound up (GERMAN SHORT HAIR)

Sadie got two long retrieves and did well she did break on the early group of teal but a quick shock and she was back in line

We saw a good number of teal early a few big ducks, I was hunting West
Bay in Galveston.

Saw a few mottled ducks flying around we missed about 4 birds because of miss-identification, next time I'll put the bow the other direction so I'm seeing them first... BTW the GW was in the area handing out tickets saw 2 groups written up for mottled, no license, plug etc. I mean really? Opening duck no license, plug in gun come on man!

we had a good opening day for the youth hunt, took two kids and they went through 4 boxes of shells, baged 2mallards, 2gadwalls, and a woody. sure made it hard not to grab a gun and help em out when they missed, and they missed alot. was a full time job keeping them stocked up on shells. Ya I hunted Christmas bay it was real slow shot one bird. Hoping tomorrow is a better day.

Aight now don't lie, did ya kill 'em? Nice stuff, what camcorder do you have? I got a Sony Handycam last year, got a little video but not much, hard to hunt and record. Gonna do it more this year though.

Them cranes sound pretty close. I think the last guy that showed up univited and said he wasn't going if he couldn't bring his dog is probaby still at the launch scratching his head wondering, "was it something I said"??????? Hell, I thought my calling was bad....

i wouldnt of been that mean but if the boat got over loaded and went under me and him wouldve been fighten in the water if ya know what i mean would ya have really left him at the launch poker1
