Our neighbor called me the other day and asked if I had seen anything suspicious last weekend while I was hunting... I had told him nothing out of the ordinary except for a guy slow rolling on the road that borders both properties... Road hunting and poaching is a bad deal around here and he also confirmed he had seen the same truck multiple times in that past few days... Out of the blue he gave me permission to hunt his land this weekend hoping if someone does decide to trespass a guy in blaze orange might deter them... Unfortunately I cant go because I have an ungodly amount of studying to do before finals next week, but my buddies and I were talking it over and all I could come up with was call the GW and get the cell phone video rolling... The last thing I need to be shot over is a deer... But what does a guy do in that situation, I realize you should confront em but I can see something like that going south really quick... Thoughts? |

If he is hunting illegally don't confront him get tag number call law. Some people confronted might turn ugly be careful. |

If the land owner hasnt actually had anybody trespassing, then just talk with the guy in the truck and find out what exactly he's doing cruising the property. If the land owner has already had poaching or trespassing on the property I'd get a hold of the GW about it and let him know something suspicious is going on. If he's out there trespassing/poaching before you get in the woods he may not take into consideration that there could be other folks around when he takes a shot. Would be a damn shame to get killed by a stray round trying to help the land owner out. |

We been have a problem on our place for about 7 years with trespassers and people night hunting and running the bayou when it floods. Haven't been able to do a damn thing about it, if you catch them and try to detain them at gun point, your going to jail, or worse they will pull a gun right back and shoot you. Our problem is the guy that owns our land could give two fucks bc he doesn't hunt on it, so needless to say the reason we still have this problem is bc the land owner has yet to take extreme measure about the situation. The one this year made and big clearing on one of our power lines with his four wheeler and cut down trees and put out about 200 lbs of feed like he owns the place. Fuking pissing me off. He lives in a neighborhood that backs up to the property, so all he does is just walk across the ditch and boom on our land. your moms house |
