 Spot lights for Frogging
I use an LED spot light for Frogs. Buddy came with me the other night with an old non LED. We could see way more with the old spot vs the LED. Could I just put a piece of yellow tint over the LED or should I buy a non LED spot light?

 Re: Spot lights for Frogging
About 100 between Fri and Sat night. All leopard frogs so nothing real big. Been so warm down here we put the shotguns up and started fishing and froggin. Just noticed a huge difference between the two spot lights. We could see a lot more frogs with the old spot light.

 Re: Spot lights for Frogging
I use a q beam most of the time for frogging but once you get used to it the led hard hat lights really work.

 Re: Spot lights for Frogging
Do you find running it off the boats battery lasts longer without killing your battery or just use the handheld battery style?
