 spot or flood
About to order me some bowfishing lights. I'll be going with the 48 watt led lights and wanted to know if it would be better to get the 30°spots or 60° floods. Thanks

 Re: spot or flood
Depends on water, Crystal clear- 60 will work, dirty or tinge water-30 pentrates better. I usually buy, spot and put lights 2 to 3 feet apart. I get about a 2 foot dia of deep water light then the area outside of the spot beam still works well enough to see movement.
Either way, my 150 watt HPS still work better in silty or dirty water.
In reality, most of the leds with 3 wat leds, it is hard to see big difference in spot or flood.
