 can some1 please explain to me why.... mm's go faster in shallow water? im really fukn curious

Re: can some1 please explain to me why.... Your stern sits lower in water creating more drag... When you get shallow you'll notice your boat rises.

Re: can some1 please explain to me why.... Had some guys from north Mississippi come down to Pecan Island last year, they thought we where crazy running against the bank, in wide open canals until we showed them the difference from deep and shallow running.

Hell we used to run our crewboats close to the bank running down the MRGO to get a little more out of them instead of the 50' center.You know when you are in a load of shit when you feel a 65' boat start to run faster and lay out just before it comes to a screaching halt on a sand bar.
