 Boca bearings
Anyone use these in their reels? I ordered a set of BOCA bearings for my curado today. Im hoping for some good results. They look really easy to install.

 Re: Boca bearings
I've looked at them before. I'm very curious to see if they're that much better than stock. Definitely keep us updated. What model Curado do you have?

 Re: Boca bearings
Is it Lews that uses the boca bearings? I was having a conversation with someone about them not long ago and I could have sworn he said the higher end lews reels come with them from the factory. I could be mistaken though.

 Re: Boca bearings
I have used them and I felt like they aren't worth it. They definitely spin much faster, but I had to tighten the brake down so much that casting difference was very close compared to the bearings that was n my chronarchs from shimano.

 Re: Boca bearings
I have a REVO STX that makes noise only on the cast without ill effects other than the noise. Reviews have said change bearings, but My concern is the quietness. I have a REVO MGX and its quiet, both perform well just the STX makes that squeal on the cast. I have entertained the boca bearing swap on my reel. My H20's make a little noise but heck its the best $50 reel out there IMO.

 Re: Boca bearings
I tried the bearings out sunday morning, and they get a 5 star review so far. They are very smooth and cast so much better.

Which one's did you use? I know they have different versions like Economy, Ceramic & Ceramic Orange.
