 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
I like my pse wave. i have shot other compounds but I like it the best and it's in your price range. If you can find a barracuda in decent shape they're pretty sweet too. They shoot a little harder than the wave. Haven't shot the new tidal wave yet though. Not a fan of the ams bows but just because I don't like the grip or the balance in my hand. Nothing wrong with em that's just my .02

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
I have the elation which is the same as the tidal wave. They are nice, but I think I'd rather save the money and have the smaller discovery 2. They shoot nice and are easy to hold all night.

Oneidas are over rated, like way over rated.
Also over priced

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
Never in my life have I laid my hands on a smoother drawing bow than an Oneida. I just can't justify the price. I can quick draw with a pse just as well as you can with an osprey. But at full draw you do get a lil bit of finger pinch with a pse that you don't get with an osprey.sweet bows just out of my price range

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
My vote is for the 40lb. discovery 2 bowfishing model. I have an elatin, 29lb discovery 2 and the 40lb discovery 2 and have shot my brother in laws wave and I'm always picking up the 40lb discovery 2 first. The elation and tidal wave are nice but a little longer and heavier.

Recurve? They are light and don't have any moving parts.

pawn shop bow! i buy at least one bow a year. they always get lost or knocked out of the boat or stepped on. cant beat a 40 dollar throw down bow. my favorite is a pse nova or a high country

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
They are nice, I have one. You won't need it turned up all the way to 40 lbs. I have mine set at 32 and it's still almost too much.

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
No need for the 40, hopefully he bought the 29
They look nice though. Looks like the grip is a little larger than the discovery 2. That's the only thing I don't like about the discovery, my hand is kinda squished in the grip even with two rolls of tennis racket tape.

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
Yep, I agree with you. For me I like the size and weight of the discovery more. Only thing that sucks is the sharper string angle, especially when you are shooting a lot.
If I was buying a new bow tomorrow it would be the disco 2.

 Re: NEW BOWFISHING BOW
Yea, it has a little string pinch, but that doesn't bother me as much as the grip. I don't have to come to full draw very often, which is where the pinch is the worst, so..
