Guys I have a prediction that this bait will be one to catch quality sized bass between 3 pounds and on up in the 10-12 pound range bass this year once the spawn is over. What do yall think? http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Spro_BBZ ... SBBZR.html |

yea ill be throwing it on 65# braid for sure. Yea Brandon I caught a good many last year on a smaller mouse bait so I figure if I double the bait size ill catch bigger fish |

LaDuck, have you ever thrown a buzzsaw shad? Basically a bass assassin with a speed worm tail but a lot softer so the hookup ratio is better than either. Rigged on a 6/0 screw pin hook they are M U R D E R on 'em especially after the spawn! |

Looks like an excellent way to catch a nice bass, or a hawk ![]() I've fished with rats but never had a whole lot of luck. Maybe it was me. I'll be trying some new post-spawn baits this year though. I fish mainly soft plastics and jigs. |

They actually work for big Browns and rainbows, here as well. Here are some fly patterns I use.. Bass and pike tear them up also. |

There's no doubt about it a real rat/mouse doesn't stand much of a chance swimming across anywhere! We used to keep a couple old jon boats flipped over by some ponds around the farm and inevitably there'd be one that'd hide and escape while we were fishing, needles to say we'd just stop to watch the show and bet on how far they'd make it! I used to wonder where in the hell they got the plop-plop-plop-plop idea for the sound of a jitterbug but that's gotta be it. |

these look pretty awesome too. ill fishing some deep drops as soon as the water temp jumps up a little bit and itll be on! last year at this same drop im going to fish, we were throwing 6ft divers and catching bass every cast and were trying to fight the gar away! it was weird lol. never caught gar on a crankbait before. http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/ICAST13. ... i think it depends on where you are fishing, in the shallower water that will definetly work, but on caddo the bass between 8-14 are in 6-8 foot of water at the bass of the cypress trees that are spread out in the open. for there you want a black and blue chatterbait |

Anyone ever had much luck with these??? Seems like these would be pretty hot for early spring feeding bass. I bought one to try. It looks better in person, extremely 3D and the colors are great. If I was a fish I know Id bite it ![]() http://www.livetargetlures.com |

Drop shot with a tube jig. Once you try it, you'll never stray from it. |
