I know some of you all on here have to have gator hunting leases. I'm looking into getting a gator lease with a property owner that I know. I am not sure what is the proper way of payment for a gator lease. I'm looking at around 2,000 acres that are available to acquire gator tags for. Before I approach the land owner I would like to have all my ducks in a row. What do you guys pay for leases? Per acre? Percentage of catch? I've been gator hunting for 7 years now with another land owner as a helper and looking to venture out on my own.
