The silver circular piece that is in the house but closest to the prop is loose and moving around. I'm doing a terrible job of explaining but it's right behind the u - joints. When I'm running the motor, it sort of rotates and it rattling. Also, I can tell that grease from pressure filler is overflowing back into the housing. Is there any way to reseat that silver piece? I have about 174hrs on the motor and have always greased and what not but have replaced the bushings or seals. if you grab the prop, it'll move just slightly. Not badly like I have seen some people w blown seals.

By not replacing seals you have additional wear on your bushings and possibly shaft too....

Movement indicates bushing issues - bad seals alone won't cause that....

Good news $100 will get you all your parts - call GD with serial number in hand as they require
that when ordering parts - rent the specialty tools from GD too or find a good GD dealer to
help you out....

I would call Go Devil and ask them. If it's something you can fix they will tell you how to do it. or they can get the part or parts on the way.
Not sure what to tell you. I gotta call them myself about a seal that needs replacing. Mine is starting to leak at the end of the shafts before the prop. Mine has been in use since 2005.
