Turkey season opens on the 27th here. Had my plots all ready to go, all excited to take a junior hunter out to tag his first long beard and then it happens. My appendix decides it doesn't want to live inside me anymore and lands me in the hospital after what I thought was just the flu. Quick surgery to remove a rather large infectious appendix and a doctors note that will remove me from hunting and fishing for the next 10-12 weeks. Fml. At least I'm back home off work for a few days, but the limitations I've been put on pale in comparison to my inability to hunt or fish until June. Stupid appendicitis. Rant over. B. MacDonald |

So update - feeling better. After having my meds and antibiotics switched out a few times I'm trying to get out in my boat..... as a passenger =) Pike just opened here and I just want to go out on a little back lake with a friend And of course.....all my hunting buddies have sent me their tagged out pics as a constant reminder of me being a weak b*tch lol Dics Thanks for the support fellas.
