I have always hunted WMAs. I got a lease this year so I can bring my young sons hunting without all the "stuff" that goes with hunting public land. Can yall tell me what the regs are for afternoon hunting times? I think my boys would be more likely to enjoy their first hunting experience if it is late afternoon verses the ass crack of dawn. I want to break em in slow.

If it's your kids first I'd pick a day you don't think you'll get caught and let em shoot fire out the barrel as long as the ducks are flying

are you leasing from a corporation or a land owner? some corporations do not allow hunting after 12:00

also, what area are you hunting in? most places around me don't produce a lot of birds in the afternoon.
