I just don't get all these confrontations. I've showed up and people were hunting in my spot. I've had people roll up on me the same way. Never once was it a screaming match or confrontational in the least. Small talk, give em a little shit for hunting 'your spot', shake hands and go elsewhere.

Ive followed this conversation over at the facebook group MM Chat.. Being from South Carolina maybe my thoughts are off but the idea of people laying claim to spots on public land seem a bit crazy to me. Is this a problem everywhere or just LA? Seems that if people started building blinds on the public lakes here SCDNR would make em move or tear them down. I understand the generational argument but public land is just that.. public. Or am i missing something?

^^ the only kind of blind that i usually built on public land in LA is out of bamboo or some other natural material. People hunt spot for a while and they assume that since they hunted it for a long time that it is there spot and get butt hurt wen someone gets there before them
