 Hunting guide in SW Louisiana?
Any good ones in Vermilion & Cameron parish? A friend of mine was wanting to setup a hunt or in between Fresh Water City & Cameron they aren't looking to stay at a Lodge just do a morning hunt.

Hackberry Rod and Gun or Big Lake guide service.. Birds are scattered down there right now. we have leases in freshwater city and Grand Chenier. Its been hit or miss down there. the fishing has been pretty good though

Re: Hunting guide in SW Louisiana?
As stated earlier, the birds are VERY scattered because of the high water levels. With all the rain and the not so strong tides the water is still here!! I hunt a lease in SW LA with one of the members here and the water on their place is a foot and a half higher than normal. They control the water coming in from the tide but can't keep the run off from the rain out!! It's been the same story all over down there. We will be back at them this weekend so I can let you know how it goes. I just talked to a guy that hunts just south of Lake Charles around Sweet Water and he said if the hunting didn't get better this weekend he was getting back to fishing!!!
